AHMUN 8.0 — THE CORE CONCEPT

Fractures of Time

When the clock shatters, every fragment tells a different story.

Explore Below
THE CONCEPT
“Time does not heal all wounds—it hides them. Until the fractures surface.”

Time is often spoken of as a river—continuous, flowing, unstoppable. But what if time is not a river? What if it is a mirror—whole only until a single strike sends fissures racing across its surface?

"Fractures of Time" invites delegates to examine the breaking points of history—the moments where a single decision, a single event, sent shockwaves across decades and continents. These are not just cracks in the glass; they are doorways into worlds that could have been, and warnings about worlds that still might be.

XII III VI IX
WHEN TIME BROKE

The Fractured Timeline

The Past

Decisions That Shattered

History is littered with moments that fractured the status quo—colonial partitions drawn with rulers and ink, treaties signed in desperation, revolutions sparked by a single act of defiance.

The Present

Living in the Cracks

Today, we stand on fractured ground. Climate tipping points, digital surveillance, geopolitical fault lines—the cracks widening beneath our feet.

The Future

Piecing It Back Together

Can fractured time be mended? As delegates, you hold the glue—diplomacy, dialogue, and the audacity to imagine a different future from the fragments.

TIME

The Fracture Is the Invitation

Every crack lets light in. Every break reveals what was hidden beneath the surface. "Fractures of Time" is not a story of destruction—it is a story of revelation.

At AHMUN 8.0, you are not here to simply observe history—you are here to interrogate it, challenge it, and reimagine it.

Are you ready to step into the fracture?

To look through the cracks of time and find your own truth among the shards?

We believe you are. Welcome to AHMUN 8.0 — Fractures of Time.

All India Political Parties Meet

Rachit

Chairperson

Having worked for 2 years in hectic & unpredictable environments as a brand strategist in an ad agency, Rachit has always been a keen observer of news and current affairs in India. The volatile nature of Indian politics and governance has kept him consistently interested in how the largest democracy in the world dances to the whims and fancies of 1.4 billion people. That is how his love for AIPPM fostered and continues to make him revisit it year-on-year. His belief in the power of MUNs stems from their ability to make one an empath, tactician and imaginator at the same time. With optimism and immense love for AHMUN, he is back for this edition and wishes each delegate the best of luck!

Darshini

Chairperson

Dharshini is a munner from the Indian circuit best known for her fiery debate and great lobbying skills. First-timer committees are his favorite, as they offer him the chance to help young delegates discover a love for MUNning. Beyond the committee room, Taher works as a Senior Account Executive at BBDO India, a mainline advertising agency. He’s also a fitness enthusiast who enjoys cricket, pickleball, and boxing.

Uday

Chairperson

Bringing in his signature mix of professionalism and a dash of Uday Chandak-style silliness, he’s all set to create a memorable experience for every delegate — one filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful connections.
